Delete your account
You can also do this inside the app — Settings → Delete account. This page exists so you can delete your account without installing Readtape.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile, reading sessions, books, and reading activity
- Any audiobook recordings you have made
If you are the last parent in your family, deleting your account also deletes the whole family — every member's profile, books, reading sessions, and recordings. If other adults remain in your family, you will be asked to make one of them a parent first.
Personal data and reading activity are removed within 30 days. Crash diagnostics held by Sentry expire within 90 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.
This cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription — cancel that separately in the App Store or Google Play, or you will continue to be billed.
